Improving Quality of Life and Constituent Services

From day one, Emily has prioritized constituent services and always does her best to respond to resident inquiries via email, phone, or social media. One of the most difficult things about government is to navigate how to access it and where to go to find an answer. Emily will continue to make it her priority to assist all residents with whatever questions or concerns they may have regarding the function of local government.   

Emily will also continue to support the great work being done in the Office of Constituent Services, led by Nora Martinez DeBenedetto – a lifelong resident of Hoboken who has led this office since 2022, following the elimination of the office in 2020 by the City Council majority. This office is a critical resource to assist residents with everything from social service referrals to housing assistance to employment inquiries to quality of life issues to code violations to general questions. It is an invaluable resource that must be maintained.
